i was tired & went to bed early, but i had a difficult time falling asleep. i got up at 11, unable to fall into a deep sleep the best remedy was to eat something. i got up again at 3, it wasn't that i was hungry, but i still couldn't sleep. i tossed & turned, when i did sleep it wasn't restful. i kept on hearing this song, it's the theme from the novela nana & i used to watch.
i remember waking up hot, not from the room temperature though it felt like i was running a fever. i know i was awake after 4:30 as i was contemplating getting up to read, but i eventually at some point early in the morning fell asleep. i got up shortly before 10; my body felt heavy & my head was foggy, i thought i was getting sick.
i had just received an email from my uncle [fyi, my uncle is oft known for getting the carriage before the horse, having sensitivity issues & mostly [at least in my book] for being an ass] announcing nana's FUNERAL, i was astounded [yet again] at his level of assery.
B & I sat there & talked about it. B said he hoped nana lived beyond the date. then, ugh, B made the leap that possibly nana was gone. [fyi, sometimes i really hate how often he's right!] B suggested i call my uncle, but i didn't want to. either way it would not be good - a) i'd tell him what an ass he was for sending out a funeral announcement while she's still alive, 2) if she had passed i would tell him what an ass he was for, X) not calling me, 11.1) not stating that minor detail in the email.
so i called the facility & when i asked them about nana's status they replied "didn't hospice call you?" when i said no, the nurse informed me she had passed early that morning about 6am, so i told her i would come in to gather nana's things.
i texted cousins C & ME, then called my mom.
B came with me to get nana's things & my mom met us there. nana's side of the room had already been emptied, all personal belongings were gone, nothing of her was left behind. her roommate was there, she cried for us. my mom spoke with her while i went to talk with the nurses & get nana's things.
i asked the nurse for nana's time of death so she looked at the chart; at 11pm hospice noticed nana was bleeding, she passed at 5:03am. they gave me nana's bags of clothing & other belongings which we had planned on going through there, but it was much too sad. nana's roommate had left bc it was too hard for her to stay there as well. the roommate told my mom she had been woken up at 3am bc of the commotion going on in nana's side of the room.

it's that time of year
well, i looked for a post last year, but didn't find one, but i did find one for K year, the penquin play. this year the school had a musical performance; Z's class sang feliz navidad & jingle bells.
Z was pretty robotic for the first song; serious face, eyes locked on the leader, very little hand motions. jingle bells was even better, er worse, i guess it depends on how you look at it. i don't think he sang more than a couple of words & his bell ringing was so far out of rhythm even B was laughing.
he was trying, really hard, just singing + hand motions + bell ringing = too much for the lil guy

let it snow, let it snow, let it SNOW (PATROL)
i got the tickets a few weeks ago, ordered them online. we hadn't been to a concert in YEARS & thankfully, B was on board with going & even told me he was alright with paying extra to get good seats. [fyi, don't ever tell me that unless you mean it.]
this is Paul Wilson, about 5 feet in front of us!!!!
B tried to get a pic of me with the stage in the background, but it didn't work, lighting wasn't right, oh well.
i'm still listening to the cd over & over & now i can see them singing the songs in my head. especially Paul beings he was right in front of us, the crinkle between his eyebrows, eyes closed. oh & the 'terra diablo' tattoo down the inside of his left arm.
i can't wait to find another concert, but i'm i think now i'm going to be even picker than i used to be.
great, great concert!
the day of the concert was HOT in the city [seriously, upper 90s]. i was concerned about being around hot, stinky people even though it was at outdoor venue, i'd never been to it & really wasn't sure what to expect.
we dropped Z off at Grammie's house, went out for a quick greek dinner, then down to sdsu. we parked near some frat houses & were got more & more excited as we walked to the college. sdsu oat (open air theatre) is EXCELLENT let me tell you!!! small, very steep, like what i imagine the greeks saw plays in. we walked down, down, down, finally at floor level, then to the front!!!!
i actually yelled out "holy shit" when i realized we were in the front row...classy, i know.
plain white t's opened. they put on a great show. i only know "hey there delilah" & "1, 2, 3, 4", but still entertaining. we weren't front & center, just a little to the left. their show was only about 40 minutes, then it was time for the headliner.
here's Gary Lightbody [YAH!!!]
i never had tickets this good for a concert & was SO pleased! they put on a great show. i was a little worried, you know how some bands aren't very good live, but snow patrol did not disappoint, at all.

this is Paul Wilson, about 5 feet in front of us!!!!
they played a bunch of songs from "final straw", which is an old album, but i LOVE it & was singing all the words!
here's Gary again. I'm pretty sure this is when he's singing "wow" my absolute favorite song from sp!
'say the first thing that comes into your head when you see me'
at the other end of the front row was a drunken pole dancing chick, she provided many laughs. Paul often would crack a smile & have to look somewhere else to keep his focus.

the band & venue were fantastic & the seats could only be beat if we were just a little to the right so we would have been front & center, but hey, i'm totally down with having a guitarist in front of me...so no complaints.
great, great concert!
note to self - it was a total bitch to get this pics lined up like this, but the perfectionist in me is pleased!

you're so vain, you probably think this blog is about you
but it isn't, it's mine & it's about me...
(fyi, that's a carly simon rip off if it's not clicking for you)
it's my 20 year reunion in a fewyears weeks. i know that can't be right, somebody screwed up with the math, i demand a recount! so although i'm looking forward to it, i realized something the other day, part of the reason why i haven't attended any of the previous reunions came to light.
see, Z & I were off to the library again, in the vw. oh yeah, the vw is fixed-ed. i'm not going to say 'fixed' because it isn't truly, it's a shade of fixed, ergo fixed-ed. so far all the alarms & lights have stopped after B put it together, the window works & so do the locks. what doesn't work? i can't open the door from the inside. i wasn't sure if i should drive the car, but then i remembered the parking fiasco & decided worrying about how i would get out of the car if i got in an accident was better than facing the parking lot in the truck.
before we headed out is when the epiphany happened, not only has 20 years past, i'm 38 [wth? how did that happen? more importantly when did that happen?] & i still don't have a clue on how to be a girl. i can't fix my hair up nice & don't know how to put on make-up.
for the first time in my life a few weeks ago i got an expensive haircut. she didn't really do much with my hair, but she did tell me that because of the various textures of my hair when i get a bad haircut, it's absolutely fricken atrocious with my hair. [oh wait a minute, maybe i did know that]. so i'll go back in a few weeks, one more round, hoping to come out with model hair...wish me luck. and as for my face, ugh, i'm actually thinking of going to a dept store, sitting in one of those chairs at a makeup counter & having them do me up. that should bea new level of hell interesting. i typically hate those makeup girls, they reek with disdain at those of us who aren't caked in layers of camouflage.
then there's the clothes. i know, clothes usually aren't a problem for me, but i'm not sure how dressy to go. i don't want to wear staple black pants & a top, i want to look nice but not overdressed & hoity-toity [i'm not sure you can do that while unemployed...& not independently weathly]. i made the mistake of asking B what the women were wearing to his reunion in July...stupid, stupid, i know....they were wearing jeans & sweatshirts [!!!!!with john deere tractors on them ].

bits & pieces
[i believe joan jett did a remake of that song, not sure]
not much going on around here...the boy continues to get up at 7am. i guess i shouldn't complain though, could be worse, there could be tears & a wake up battle every morning, right?
yesterday i got up about 7:45, i hadn't heard any sounds so i thought he was still in bed [only to scare myself when i found it empty]. he was already dressed, had breakfast & was sitting on the sofa wrapped up in a blanket. it must have been my semi-annual night of good sleep is why i didn't hear him...
& today i found him playing outside with the dog when i got up.
he also did better on night 2 of homework, so all is well on that front.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
the painting bug is about to bite soon. i'm looking around here, i want to do things, but its really difficult to commit to something huge [like redoing the ENTIRE kitchen] when i'm unemployed & B is schooling. so paint is cheap...although i cringe every time i look at the 18 year old linoleum in the kitchen, or find another frozen item in the refrigerator, or accidentally use the micro above the stove instead of the 1980s one on the counter [because the installed one is slower than cooking on the stove!!!]. somewhere along the line this house turned into ghetto house numero dos - wtf?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
i have not made a single bit of tangible progress on Z's costume. i've thought about it a lot, conceptualized how i'm going to do it [no pattern, straight winging in...i know, i'm just WILD like that....or maybe stupid, whatever...semantics people...]. part of the problem is the only working space i have to set up the sewing machine is the dining room table & right now, that's homework central for both boys. so what am i supposed to do? work in the backyard? i mean, let's be honest here, neither one of them are really gung ho about homework in the 1st place [ok nobody is, but compared to average]. B's already dropped his speech class & is still complaining about homework & testsblah, blah, blah, wait until he takes a 200 level class!!! i'm so happy i don't go to school anymore lalalalalala.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
i FINALLY got this blog under my "sayittojustme" username. it wasn't that complicated once i figured it out, but it was a pain in the interim. so yah for me!
the devil will find work for idle hands
tingle
oh sorry...
um yeah, those are words from the smiths "what difference does it make?" (go school yourself if you aren't singing along). [is it just me or do you think B kinda looks like morrissey? ok, maybe you have to be drunk....& in the dark...]
anywho, yes, idle hands belonging to the child.
i spoke with Z's principal yesterday afternoon & we have an appt scheduled for tomorrow. she & Z's teacher are going to work something up to keep the boy entertained during recesses because idle time does not work out well for him.
people are always making him do things he doesn't want to do & he's simply forced to hit them.
bastards.
see, this is why i didn't like kids when i was kid. it wasn't that i was anti-social, i just didn't have the patience even back then. it's taking me years of training with B to even considering having a child of my own. [heehee, someone's going to tell him about that one!]
& at home we need to work on positive reinforcement.
[what? no more daily beatings?
kidding people!]
& we need to dole out little daily positive rewards for happy faces.
i guess kisses, hugs & praise don't cut it after all.
cold hard cash?
Z singing
geez, i've actually been so busy at work (yes, working...ok, part of it was putting my resume together too) that i haven't had a chance to write anything or read anything & i hardly know who i am anymore.
i had like 6 stories bouncing through my head this morning as i was getting ready for work. [see, this is why i have to write, because if i don't it gets crowded in there.]
alright so it's been awhile since i've noted some Z funnies, here's a few:
* the other day he came home from his after-school care place & he says "momma" & waits to make sure he has my full attn & he belts out "hit me with your best shot" with swinging hips, swaying shoulders & crunched up face - all he was missing was some painted on pants & spike heels a la Pat Benatar.
* in the car on the drive home while we're listening to The Strokes he changed the song lyrics to "why don't come over here? we got a 'momma-cita' to love" - yeah, i'm sure Julian would be down with that version.
blister....in the sun
last night Z & I were doing some grocery shopping & they were playing some 80s music, i don't remember the song. then this started:
when i'm a walking
i strut my stuff
when i'm so strung out
i'm high as kite
i just might
stop to check you out
& i'm doing my best to not sing along; it's really difficult but i'm managing...somehow...probably mouthing the words though.
then Z starts in "let me go wild!"
could NOT make his mother more proud - knowing violent femmes at such a young age! i'm surprised i didn't tear up.
watch out for:
the hoochie man!
the other day Z was playing around & instead of saying "watch out for the boogey man," he said "watch out for the hoochie man!"
i about fell over laughing, that boy hasn't even been to a club! he don't know nothing about hoochie!
so watch out for him, that hoochie man...
& don't confuse him with the hoochie mama!
(hahaha, i've never seen the video but love that they have the clip from friday!)
the drive
wow, didn't realize how much i missed radio! once we hit the 15 radio goes on, i tend to forget if we're in B's truck beings it has sirius, but the car doesn't, so once near civilization it's on.
do you know how you know you're in la? there's more mexican music on the radio than english music - surprise.
but, it was great nearing sd & hearing all the fabulous radio stations! YEAH! 94.9 has been in a slump since anya left, really how much rage against the machine can one listen to?
then the big dilemma was what to eat? so many options it's a bit overwhelming you know! we drove thru escondido, skipped that. then neared kearny mesa which is a complete melting pot & the decision was made - what do we missed most from the city? hole in the wall mexican. yeah, i know we were headed to mexico the next day, but i'm sorry you just can not beat these burritos ok?
B & I got our carne asada burrito fix & little one got his rolled tacos with cheese & sour cream (weirdo, i know, he doesn't like guac!).
then we headed downtown to the hotel. oh & we had an unintentional excursion off to La Jolla - oopsie. what can i say? i was enthralled with all the beauty & greenery that i kinda got in the wrong lane & missed the 5...
oh & for anyone who actually reads this, i'm backdating the posts for the next couple of entries.
going to be a rock star
Z was doing a little shake & i asked him if he was dancing he said no, but he was practicing because he might want to be a rock star. so i explained to him that if he was going to be a rock star, that meant he was going to be in a rock band & in order to be in a rock band you had to play an instrument or sing, or both. he said he knew, that he was going to play guitar.
luckily vh1 was showing greatest songs of the 80s, so we had music appreciation evening.
the governator is threatening to cut school funding even more so where else is my kid going to learn about good music? i don't remember learning about the clash at school? & i wasn't introduced to motley crue until i was in 6th grade (& i thought vince was a chick).
oh, & B walked in as the cure came on (just like heaven) & i told him if they are ever in concert again, we are going. this morning he asked "the cure? or the cult?" - either, both!
control
i watched most of the movie at work that day but wasn't able to finish it. i had a few free minutes on friday afternoon so i popped the movie in. unfortunately the stupid dvd player was not co-operating with me & by the time i got the darn thing working, mother-in-law & B were by my side ready to watch the end of the movie.
i tried to explain the scenario to them, although i knew they were both not interested in the slightest. i also had to have the volume rather low because of all the cussing, however it made the british accent all the more difficult to interpret.
so what they saw was a gig, ian with his girlfriend, ian returning home to his wife that he no longer loved, then hanging himself. i'm sure they were very impressed; mother-in-law's thoughts: he sang out of tune...
i have to say to a certain degree i didn't like the movie, it hurt to see him cheat on his wife who had no idea he had fallen out of love with her. i watched the commentary, i've learned that i end up liking movies more after watching the extra stuff included. the guys that play the band, actually performed the music & sang on the movie, no lip-synching, i thought that was very neat.
during the credits, the killers version of shadowplay is on. i really liked that song from the first time i heard it, i didn't know it was a remake, which makes it all the more better, but now when i listen to it i hear joy division.
gone to the dark side
after hours & hours of internet surfing, i've finally gone & done it...at work...no not porn. i'm watching a movie at work. co-worker will be so proud, new boss probably not so much.
the movie is "control" the story of Ian Curtis from Joy Division. It's something i want to give my complete attn to (ie, virtually impossible to watch at home with constant noise coming from Z). plus mother-in-law will be in town the next few nights & i don't need to add my obscure movie choices to her long list of how weird her daughter-in-law really is (she will never get over how i actually prefer to drive a stick shift). watching a movie about this weird guy who has an affair, suffers epileptic fits on stage & while i shush everyone around because the movie is more important than her visit...probably not a good idea.
iron man, the song this time
the other day Z comes home singing "ta na nanana tanana" ok, forgive me because i don't know how to write it out in a way that you can get it, but he was humming iron man, well enough for me to recognize it. so i waited around a bit, then he finally sang the words "i am iron man, am i dead or alive?"...with a little adlibbing.
he said he was told not to sing it (but he still was)
remember when i found the goldmine, well, although that was a good find, i can not believe what i stumbled upon yesterday. mother-in-law is coming to visit soon, so that means the house is getting a thorough cleaning. (M i know you came to visit not that long ago & i did clean the house then too, just not to the level necessary for mother-in-law.) off in the corner is a little table & underneath are a few old vcr tapes stacked; most are cartoons, etc for Z but a few are mine one being 16 candles. i know B has been pushing for some time to get rid of the vcr, honestly how often do we use, hardly ever but after yesterday it just might get used daily!
so the tape has "yo mtv raps" in M handwriting (i hope i asked you permission before overwriting your tape M, if not i apologize your stuff is gone, like 17 or 18 years ago gone...). then in my handwriting it says "juniors" so the tape is one i made for when i worked at may company. they made a wall of tvs, gave us a vcr & one (ONE) tape of videos to play over & over & over & over. the music wasn't horrible that i remember, the only song i can recall is one by billy idol.
so i made my own tape, back in the day MTV had this novel approach where, they actually played music on their channel not BS. MTV used to be a really good thing, so here's the list of videos i found. the quality isn't that great, it is almost 20 years old, but i was grinning from ear to ear. Z was in his room as punishment for something & i told him he could come out & listen to the music for a music appreciation class!
So in Love - OMD a classic
Heartbreak Beat by Psychedelic Furs, love Richard Butler's voice here
Each Time You Break my Heart - Nick Kamen, not so alternative, but a good watch! there was a link on utube, but it was a different video, this link matches, however, if you check out utube, there's also a Levi commercial he did - Hot, very hot!
People are People - Depeche Mode live, wow, awesome, Dave Gahan looks so young, bleach tipped hair
I Go Crazy When I'm Without You - Flesh for Lulu this band was so underrated in the 80s, they also had a really great song called "Postcards from Paradise"
Hot, Hot, Hot - the Cure i believe this song was written about Robert Smith's experiences with drugs. this was the first concert i went to in sd with by best friend E.
Bedbugs & Ballyhoo - Echo & the Bunnymen, love it. Echo first caught my attn in Lost Boys with a remake of the Door's "People are Strange". oh, the link has a few other fanastic Echo songs! yeah!
Perfect Kiss - New Order, an extreme favorite back in the day
Beds are Burning - Midnight Oil, they're first mainstream song. link is to their website with a list of videos.
Strangelove - DM, funny to see all the women they have parading around, who are they trying to fool? oh, went to this concert w/E too.
All in my Mind - Love & Rockets another great band, love many of their songs. saw them in concert too, lead singer was an ass on stage though. L&R opened for Orgy (the band) who did an edgy remake of "Blue Monday" which i liked. they put on a good show, the video doesn't do Jay Gordon (lead singer) justice though, he's a performer, also very hot! found it live
Milky Way - the Church, "reptile" is a good one too
How Soon is Now? - the Smiths, love, love, LOVE this song!
Suspicion - Gene Loves Jezabel, good song, "Motion of Love" & "Desire" were also very good
Behind the Wheel - DM
Bottom Line - Big Audio Dynamite, start there, also worth listening to: E=MC2, the Glove, C'mon Every Beat Box,
There's a Light - Smiths, love, love, LOVE this one too!
World Shut your Mouth - Julian Cope
Need You Tonight - INXS, aw the first of many to come...Michael Hutchence looking really good, telling me he needs me tonight because he's not sleeping. oh & this is the version w/mediate at the end. I got so caught up in it i forgot to put the link in there!
Mirror People - Love & Rockets
Blue Monday - New Order version
New Sensation - INXS Michael in a suit w/a pony tail which today looks a little gay, but back then was very goof!
It's my Life - Talk Talk, before Gwyen Stafani did it
Trash City - Joe Strummer, this is a great song, it was the theme song for a movie starring Keanu Reeves. i haven't seen it since i was a teenager, need to watch it again. this isn't the video i have, it's a tribute to JS who died in 2002. i couldn't locate the correct one, i guess it's rather obscure...
Only a Memory - Smithereens
Happy Birthday - Altered Images, everyone at worked hated this video, they didn't get that it was from 16 candles - losers! it can get a bit annoying but come on i hear so much worse on the radio!
Inside Out - Mighty Lemon Drops
Listen Like Thieves - INXS, from before they were popular, sweet! i could only find a live version, not the video i have, so will have to link later.
Roxanne - the Police, scratch that, it's Sting, solo just him & a guitar, oh & clothes, i mentioned that because even B was "wowed" by him. amazing!
Hands on Me - Sinead O'Connor featuring MC Lyte
Dead Heart - Midnight Oil, see link above
Good Times - INXS & Jimmy Barnes from the movie Lost Boys
I Got You - Split Enz
Guns in the Sky - INXS, think i got a thing MC? yup
What You Need - INXS, wow, remembering that black figure of MC back when they were so new it made me sad to think of what his future could have been, what we missed.
The One Thing - INXS this was my introduction to INXS (when i thought it was pronounced in-inks-es), i've loved this song from the first time i heard it, make sure to also listen to "Dancing on a Jetty", "Mystify", "Original Sin"
Tonight - the Cars, i'm not sure why this is here, it doesn't fit in, so i'm not linking it...um, the cars was the first cassette i bought to go in the walkman my dad bought me way back when
Locomtion - OMD
People Are People - DM, yeah we already did this one, but hey, it's DM so why not! besides, it fades into glorious
Question of Lust - DM, Martin all S&M'ed out, but still a FANTASTIC song! while you're there check out "Black Celebration" & "the Sun & the Rainfall" good stuff before they were popular
West End Girls - Pet Shop Boys, a definitive song of the 80s, it was good before they played it one trillion times...
Suspicious Minds - a fabulous Elvis re-make done by FYC, f*** you C***, er I mean Fine Young Cannibals. watch the guitar/bass/whatever player on the left dance, it's fricken hilarious! FYC was a really good group, while you're there check out "Johnny Come Home", "I'm not the Man I used to Be" & "Ever Fallen in Love"
Here I Go Again - Force MD's doesn't fit in, but i really liked this song & "Tender Love"
falling down a mountain, end up kissing dirt
ok, it wasn't a mountain.
Z & I took L-bird for a walk. we started to sprint & well, L-bird has barely learned how to walk on a leash anything beyond that was new territory for the girl. so when we picked up speed, she got the forward part, that's in her nature, but she was spastic, just all over the place & although i kept tugging the leash over to the right, she was still everywhere. i stepped on a paw & that was the end of it...in slow motion of course...
& it wasn't dirt, it was pavement.
i stepped on her paw with my right foot, my next step with my left foot was off, i attempted to regain my balance & thought i had it, but then the following right step was when i knew i was going down. & before i knew it i was splattered on the pavement. luckily it was almost dark, so no one else was out & i don't think anyone saw me. i looked up immediately & called to Z to make sure he stopped & waited for me to see if i could pick myself up. then i hear voices in the open garage just a few feet away from me, so there was no time for games, i quickly picked myself up & started walking as if i hadn't been laying on the sidewalk in front of their house. luckily there's a mailbox right there so if they heard any commotion they probably thought i was checking the mail, not inspecting the pavement.
i ended up with a scabbed knee & i managed to scrap nailpolish off 1/2 my left toe as i slid across the pavement.
oh & as for the song reference (in case you didn't get it, it's INXS), it's a little foreshadowing for the next post, see you there.
napster bad
if you never saw this, it's fantastic!
i hadn't watched it in many years, but thought of it when i found some old disks of downloaded music from back in the glorious days of napster. unfortunately the music was unretrievable, i'm sure metallica has something to do with that....f-ing lars!
more restraints
internet police have struck again, mf'ers took away my online radio!
bad enough pandora & sirius were blocked, now they took away my 94.9
so now i'm forced to listen to co-worker's whiny, twangy country music - it hurts.
UPDATE: almost 2pm, 94.9 is working again...internet police must have read my blog & felt bad, even my web-radio.com station is working again - yeh!
found a goldmine
ok maybe found isn't the correct word, because i knew it was all there the whole time, reacquainted, that's better...
i attempted to get on the home computer to download recent pics but neither B or i have installed the camera's software onto the new computer & i didn't want to download the long way, which as it turns out really wouldn't have been the long way because i would have completed the process whereas because i wanted the software installed, i did not get it done....i hopped off the computer for 1/2 a second & B pounced on his game (it was already running, but he started actively playing).
i mistakely thought he would do whatever he was going to do, then install the program for me, then let me do my thing, so i stuck around. our computer room is our dumping grounds for stuff that doesn't go anywhere else or needs to be taken care of in some regard, etc. i looked up in the closet & saw my 3 boxes of cassettes (they're not large boxes, just wide enough for a cassette to fit in) so it's not a huge amount, not taking up a lot of space & i guess that's why i've justified moving & keeping them for so long.
talk about memories, jeez this stuff was so funny to look through. all of these were purchased from the time i was 17 & working at the music bar to early 20s. so this was music from my heyday, living w/the girls, wild & reckless. ok, maybe not so wild & not so reckless, but we definitely had our share of fun times. tj nights 4x a week & the best carne asada burritos at 3am. we did a lot of growing up together.
ok, so here's the list: lots of depeche mode, the smiths, the cure, morrissey. a few old bon jovi, bonham, kingdom come & even a led lepplin one, oaktown 357, safire. some of the stuff i'm still unwilling to part with, i'll have to make a list of cd's i need to buy, but for now i put all my mix tapes in my car. yup, the vw has a cassette player! heehee, this morning i listened to an unmarked tape that had nwa on there - express yourself, a bitch is a bitch & dopeman hahahaha!
oh, i didn't find my original nwa tape so the unmarked mix was extra special, however i did find luke skywalker!! that's going to be hilarious!
